Puistofiesta - Activities in Hämeenpuisto on 2 August 2026

Registration for Puistofiesta 2026 is now open!

Puistofiesta, an urban event for the whole family, will take place on Sunday 2 August 2026 from 11.00 to 16.00. Now in its 15th year, Puistofiesta is one of Tampere’s most popular city events.

Puistofiesta provides associations and companies with an excellent opportunity to showcase their activities to local residents. Visitors can try out new hobbies and activities at the stands. The main focus of each stand should be on hands-on activities and visitor participation. Small-scale sales alongside the activities are permitted, but the sales must not be the stand's primary focus.

Participation in the event is easy and free of charge. Each participant will be allocated their own space in Hämeenpuisto. The City of Tampere is responsible for the event's overall arrangements and marketing, while participants are responsible for setting up and running their own stands during the event.

During Puistofiesta, Hämeenpuisto will be filled with interactive activity points hosted by companies, associations and organisations, offering residents new experiences and encounters.

Participants can register using the electronic form provided. Registration closes on Sunday 24 May 2026.

All activity stands must be set up on the gravel pathways of the Hämeenpuisto boulevard. Use of the grass areas of the park is only permitted in exceptional cases and in specific locations. If your stand requires a grass area, this will determine where you are placed in the park.

All structures and tents must set up by 10 am on the day of the event.

Set up must follow the instructions from Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency TUKES regarding lightweight and pop-up tents.

All stands will be inspected before the event starts. Any stand that has not been set up safely can be removed by the rescue services or the event organiser.

Only a limited number of stands have access to electricity. This affects your stand placement in the park.

To gain access to electricity, all stand operators must bring their own outdoor-use extension cords.
