Each year, the City of Tampere presents the Adult of the Year Award to an individual, group or organisation that has made an outstanding contribution to the people of Tampere. In 2026, the Adult of the Year Award will be presented to a Tampere resident who listens to young people and engages with them in a meaningful way. Anyone can nominate a candidate for the award. You can submit your nomination using this form. The recipient of the award will be selected from the nominations received by the Culture and Leisure Committee. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the privacy notice of the Community and Development Services Unit within the City of Tampere’s Education and Culture Services.
