Open call for exhibitions 2027 | City of Tampere, Public Cultural Services

The call for exhibitions for 2027 opens on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, and closes on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 12:00 noon.

The call for applications covers the Gallery and Studio at the Culture House Laikku, as well as the venues at the
Haihara Art Center: Manor and Stable.
The application period ends on Monday, March 23, 2026, at
12:00 noon.

Please read the application instructions carefully. Only apply for venues that are suitable for your exhibition.

Application periods:
* Laikku, spring season from January to mid-May (3 exhibition periods).
* Laikku, summer season from mid-May to early August (2 exhibition periods).
* Laikku, fall season from early August to December (3 exhibition periods).
* Haihara, summer season from May to the end of August.

We reserve the right to change exhibition times until exhibition agreements have been made.

Accepted file formats are pdf, doc and docx, ppt and pptx. Maximum attachment size is 10 MB. Maximum number of attachments is 6. Attach the following to your application:

1) exhibition plan (if longer than above)

2) image attachment
Compile all images (PDF) into one image attachment; do not upload individual images.

3) CV
Larger groups should compile the CVs of all contributors into one attachment.

For video works and other recordings, include a link in the Additional information section.

Personal information

The applicant acts as the contact person for both private and group exhibitions. The contact person acts as the signatory of the exhibition agreement and is obliged to forward any materials sent to them to the other artists in the group exhibition, if necessary. If the applicant is an association, the person acting as the signatory to the agreement is the person specified in the association's rules.
