Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra, Concertmaster audition 8 to 9 September 2025

Application period starts on 21 May 2025. Application deadline is 3 August 2025 at 23:59 (11:59 pm, UTC+3).

The position is permanent, and work begins on 12 January 2026 or as agreed.

Audition on Mon-Tue 8.-9.9. at Tampere Hall, Main Auditorium for those invited to audition based on the applications. Invitations to the audition and a link / pdf-file to the required audition repertoire will be sent to the applicants by 11 August. The audition will take place on Monday from 10 am to 5 pm (concertos, solos and chamber music excerpt) and on Tuesday from 2 to 3 pm (orchestral excerpts).

Mozart: Violin Concerto No. 3, 4 or 5, I movement and cadenza

and

I movement and cadenza of a violin concerto from either Beethoven, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Sibelius or Mendelssohn (E minor Op. 64)
