 Before filling out the form

Carefully review the criteria for the grant you are applying for. Information about the criteria for specific project grants can be found on Tampere city's Targetet grants webpage.
A project grant is not awarded for activities that are part of the applicant's core operations and are already supported by a general grant. However, in exceptional cases, a project grant may be awarded to organizations receiving a general grant if the project clearly differs from the organization's core activities.
Is the applicant association/organization receiving a General grant from the City of Tampere? (Does not apply to private persons or working groups.)

 General information

"Enter the name of the working group, organization, or private person here."
"Enter the amount as a whole number: no commas, periods or euro signs."
"Provide a short name for the project you are applying for a grant for."
"Briefly explain here the purpose for which you are applying for the grant."
"Enter the time period during which the project is expected to take place."

 Target group of the project

Which age groups is the project specifically aimed at? Select all applicable options. The age groups are indicative and primarily describe the target group the activity aims to reach.
"Specify the notable target groups your project is aimed at here. Do you have specific groups you are focusing your activities on?"
"Estimate how many members of the target group you aim to reach. A large number of target groups will not automatically affect the approval of the grant, so try to estimate accurately. During the reporting phase, we will ask you to specify the actual numbers achieved."

 Project implementation plan

"Enter a general description of the project here: you may also supplement your application with annexes. Describe the project's content, goals, and potential partners."
"Specify the location or locations where the funded project or event will take place as accurately as possible."
Is the project or event organized annually?
"Toimintaan osallistumisen tulisi olla mahdollisimman helppoa riippumatta esimerkiksi toimintarajoitteista, tuen tarpeista, äidinkielestä tai taloudellisesta tilanteesta. Miten yhteisön toiminnassa tullaan huomioimaan saavutettavuus, yhdenvertaisuus, avoimuus ja matala kynnys?"
You can read more about the principles of a safer space on the city’s website. The link below will open in a new window.
"Ecological sustainability requires, among other things, the preservation of biodiversity, the sustainable use of natural resources, and the adaptation of emissions and other human activities to the carrying and regenerative capacity of the environment. How will ecological sustainability be taken into account in the activities of your organization?"

 Supplement for community activities

"If the grant has not been partially or fully used for the intended purpose, the recipient agrees to return the unused portion or the part used for other purposes to the granting authority."
