Request for a Certificate from the City Archives

Use this form to order copies of old school diplomas from the city of Tampere. Please note that from 2018 study information can be found in the national Koski service (opintopolku.fi/Koski, only in Finnish or Swedish).

Ordinary requests for documents are free of charge when the number of pages of the requested copies does not exceed 20 pages or when the documents are already in electronic format in the City Archives. Delivery method

The copies will be delivered no later than two weeks after the city archive has received the request to receive the document. The archive is in contact if necessary to give or receive additional information.

E-mails containing certified copies are sent encrypted due to personal information. In this case, you will receive a secure link in a separate e-mail message, through which the actual message can be opened.

Delivery Method

When sent by e-mail, certified copies of documents cost 2 euros / page and an invoicing surcharge of 5 euros.

The postal address is required for invoice delivery.

If you have made an e-invoice agreement for Tampere city invoices in your online bank, you will also receive an electronic invoice from the city archives.

Pick up from the archive

You will receive a notification when your copy of the certificate is available for pickup. The materials can be picked up from the city archive during the archive's opening hours on weekdays from 9 to 15:30.

Copies are paid upon pickup. Only card payments are accepted at the city archives.
