Tampere Cultural Festival

The festival program consists of multicultural content with interviews, performances, workshops and a selection of food from different cultures and countries. Each hour, there will be a presentation of a continent to increase cultural awareness and make it possible for each individual to shine bright during the event.

!!! There is a limited amount of selling spots available. Please note that organizers are keeping the right of selecting sellers based on the application date and/or base of origin. The goal is to provide the festival visitors and consumers with a multicultural experience. 

 

!!! Those who sell food during the festival day are welcome to share ideas about the kind of performances willing to present their country. Please be in touch with Selene G and share your ideas with her.

 

!!! Participation in the festival requires an active involvement in the Cultural Business Training activity, as well as in the Tampere Cultural Festival planning. Therefore, we look forward to meeting you in the workshops organized by CBT. 

 

Things to take into consideration before applying for a selling spot at Tammelantori during the Festival Day:

• take care of needed notifications with Evira (if applicable)
• table and other appliances (your responsibility)
• proper storage for cold and hot food (your responsibility)
• hand wash point (water, hand sanitizer - your responsibility)
• tent (firmly stable with an efficient heavy holding tool - your responsibility)
• open fire or gas (your responsibility)
• presentation and layout of your food (country/cultural theme - your responsibility)
