You can use this form to inform the city of Tampere of any changes that affect your daycare client fee.

 Choosing the method of determining the client fee

The client fee for daycare can be determined in two ways. You can either consent to pay the highest category fee or you can provide income information and have the client fee determined based on your household's gross income.

Consenting to the highest category fee: You agree to pay the highest category fee (according to the law on client fees and the decision of the City of Tampere on applying said law) and you don't have to provide any income information. The consent is valid until you fill another form stating otherwise or the daycare service ends.

Determining the client fee based on the household's income: Use this form to submit your household's income information.

 Consenting to the highest category fee

The consent to pay the highest category fee should primarily be made in the Early Education Online Service. You need to have online banking credentials and the child in question must have a current daycare service decision in order to use the Online Service. The Online Service is available only in Finnish.

If you are unable to use the Online Service, you can give your consent using this form.

 New income information

Declare your household’s gross income. Gross income means income before taxes etc. are deducted. Attach documentation showing your households main income source (e.g. most recent pay slips of parents/guardians). You may be required to provide further documentation if the income information is deemed incomplete. Giving false income information or withholding said information may result in a retroactively increased day care fee for a maximum period of one year.

Daycare client fee decision and service decisions can be delivered electronically. The decision are sent to the Early Education Online Service as electronic messages. The client is will be notified by SMS when a new decision is sent to the Online Service.Päivähoidon asiakasmaksu- ja palvelupäätökset voidaan toimittaa sähköisesti. The client is responsible for keeping their contact information up to date by informing the city of any changes using the Online Service.

Please note that at the moment the Early Education Online Service is available only in Finnish.
